Using the mahina to find islands! This was the māhealani moon from earlier in #kaulua on the morning of February 24th. Setting in the house of Komohana (almost due west), we used it to help guide us to the island of Barbados that same day on #leg17 of the Hōkūleʻa Worldwide Voyage.
