Gusty winds, heavy passing rains, and moderately rough seas in Hilo, as observed from Puakahīnano towards Makahanaloa, from Puhi Bay (niu), from ‘Ōhele (mai‘a) towards Hilo Palikū, and at the mouth of the Wailuku where strong river flow meets waves surging in from Hilo Bay.
