Akua! Uahi a Pele is widely dispersed by gentle, shifting winds, as sensed from the top of the ahupua‘a of Kea‘au in Puna; all shapes and strata of clouds present: high, grey, wispy, nu‘a. ‘Apapane, ‘amakihi, and ‘ōma‘o are vocal – dogs, too! Maunaloa, Mauna a Wākea, and Kūlani preside in the calm above the forest.
